Born and raised in Detroit, life wasn't always easy. When you grow up in a tough neighborhood, you learn to grow thick skin, you become strong, and you don't let people step all over you. Where I grew up you didn't see another asian face for miles if it wasn't your own famliy. You find that people don't accept who you are and treat you different because of how you look.
I went to school at MSU and earned a degree in Electrical Engineering (I know, I know...typical major for asians). I must say I didn't really want to do that but at the time I didn't know what else to do, so I just did what made my parents happy. Trust me though, I am not a bookworm. I like to hang out and have fun just like everyone else. I also love to play most any sport. My favorite is snowboarding. I'm easy going and easy to talk to. I tend to think I'm funny but that's relative =). I guess that's it, now i'm in sunny california trying to pursue acting and modeling.
I love snowboarding and pretty much any sport. I just like being active.
I like making people laugh.
To be honest, I don't see many asian actors or models. I mean, there are but most of the time it's the typical martial arts guy. I want the world to see that asia has a lot more to offer than martial arts and that we have other talents as well.
The media always shows many asian women but not many asian males. I am not sure why that is but I'd like change that.
